“Through the skilled use of harmonic mixing,
phrasing and carefully selected sampling,
I blend music together – producing seamless
and unique musical journeys
which those on my dance floor
become happily compelled to travel.

Dave Hunt is a British DJ living near Bournemouth, Dorset, UK.
He plays uplifting, funky and progressive house music and trance,
on the gay scene in the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Having become disillusioned with the music on the Bournemouth scene, Dave decided to either shut up moaning or do something about it.
So, he decided to learn to DJ and get himself some gigs.

His first residency was for OUTrage at Xchange, Bournemouth, on a Wednesday night. Immediately, the feedback was positive
– people loved the fresh new sound.

This then led to him being asked to head up
a monthly Saturday night event at Xchange, called Vice Versa.
This launched in February 2012 and is still running strong,
with Dave as one of its main resident DJs and its promoter.

Dave has also run his own house-music night called 2GETHER which took place during 2013 and 2014 in both Bournemouth and Southampton.

Further afield, Dave also played in London, in one of the gay scene’s iconic Vauxhall venues, Union (more famously known as Crash).

Moving into Europe, during 2014, Dave was head-hunted by Sven Adler to join a brand-new night in Brussels, called Revelation,
resulting in becoming one of its key resident DJs.

During 2015, alongside his residencies, Dave has also played at Manchester’s No.1 weekly gay house night, Aftershock, and Amsterdam’s iconic Eagle for Men Inc’s special pride party and headlined on Mister B’s boat during Amsterdam’s canal pride and two (Z)onderbroek parties at Amsterdam’s infamous Club Church.
